The convince of being close to the river, restaurants and stores is worth the price for a weekend stay.

We spent two nights at Rainbow River Bungalows and overall came away impressed. The location is excellent — super close to the Rainbow River and KP Hole boat ramp so access for kayaking/tubing was easy. The natural surroundings are peaceful, relaxing, great for unplugging.

We had a blast going up and down the beautiful rainbow river. The bungalow was nice and clean with everything we needed. Kaliela was very helpful and accommodating.

Nice litte get away. The place was clean. We brought our own towels & washcloths, but there were a few provided as well. There is a standard coffee maker. 2 ice trays for ice in freezer. Cooking utensils also provided. We grilled on the propane grill provided in the comman area. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, we had a 2 bedroom with a king & queen size bed. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable, one small couch, 2 chairs. After being on the river all day in the sun, we wished to be able to relax better but it just wasn't there. We actually brought an air mattress just incase & wound up using that in the living room to chill out better. Additionally if you rent the kayaks from here you are on your own with getting them out/returning which can be complicated & heavy! KP hole is a short walk. We rented kayaks & went up river which was fun & exhausting! No one was present on a Monday to check our coolers or drinks but there are volunteers on the river riding up & down patrolling. The bungalow offers free access to launch a vessel only does not offer free access to the small swimming area at the KP hole. The small swimming area at the KP hole is ideal for small kids we had a lot of fun there. A Sunday evening & we were the only ones there! There are plenty of grocery stores & fast food near by. No alcohol sales on a Sunday in the county! Additionally i did not see firewood avail for the common area firepit. Overall i would visit again & recommend!

We had a group that rented a few bungalows. Kaliela was super helpful with recommendations and tips for activities with young kids. The bungalows were clean and close to everything. I would highly recommend!
